Minute Meditations: The Morning Offering Prayer
In our fast-paced world, it’s important that we as Catholics take intentional time to connect deeper with our faith and focus on what really matters in our day-to-day lives. To help our parishioners with this task, we’ll be sharing various “Minute Meditations” for your social media feed!
Today’s Minute Meditation focuses on our daily routine. Do you make time each morning for a bit of quiet gratitude and intention-setting?
Take a moment to stop scrolling, and offer up this Daily Prayer:
“O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, for the salvation of souls, the reparation for sins, the reunion of all Christians, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month.
Amen”
Adding a bit of prayer to your day doesn’t have to be too time-consuming or unattainable. Even just five minutes of reflection can help put you in the right headspace to live out your Catholic faith.
Do you have a morning meditation that you use each day? We’d love to hear what helps you stay spiritually connected!
